Dated 27 February 2019; One faculty and 5 students from Department of Mechanical Engineering, School of Diploma Studies & School of Engineering attended One Day Seminar on Maintenance of Electrical & Mechanical equipment in industries & utilities. The session was organised by The Society of Power Engineers (India) – Vadodara Chapter at Rajkot Engineering Association, Rajkot. Various retired and working professionals of their concern field shared their experiences and knowledge to the audience of more than 100 delegates from GETCO, GEB, PGVCL, Power stations and students from different institutes. The topics covered were Industrial electrification, maintenance of mechanical equipment in industries, hydro power plant, energy audit in industries, maintenance of transformer, RTV HV insulation coating and maintenance of motor, compressor, fans, pump, etc.
