LABS & COMPUTING
The interactive experiments in this lab will give the students an opportunity for learning and better understanding of the basic concepts and constructs of computer programming. This lab covers Programming in C, Coding Conventions, Debugging techniques, Pointers, Simple code simple problems using data structures like Stacks, Linked Lists etc. The Laboratory helps the students to solve Engineering problems and implementation of projects through computer programming.
This Lab provides training and exposure to several software development tools and practices. The objective of this lab is to create a full functional website with attractive user interface. This lab is used for learning web technologies and building web applications using the current web technologies.
It is having complete Java Environment that includes different versions of Java Development Kits (JDKs), Eclipse, Netbeans, etc. Microsoft Visual Studio 2008/2010/2012 is also available for learning and developing Web Applications on Microsoft platform. The lab is used for conducting practicals of subjects like web designing with ASP.NET, programming in java, PHP etc.
This lab provides an introduction to Linux. The lab consists of performing basic system operations such as file management, text editing, permission management, etc. Various commands for compressing files or for obtaining system information are explained as part of this lab. Common tools and techniques used for searching and working with file permissions are also covered.
The objective of this lab is to make students familiar with the Linux command-line environment. This lab also promotes basic understanding of system administration processes by providing a hands-on experience. It is expected that by using this lab the students will become comfortable in working with a Linux machine.
CAD Lab of this institute is established for concept design and product realization. This lab is to primarily facilitate students to evolve concepts and convert it into a complete product. The process of design, simulation and prototyping takes place in a digitally integrated environment.
The CAD Laboratory is a facility of the institute where all students, research scholars and faculty members- can work with the sophisticated 2-D & 3-D design and analysis software. They can learn to use the latest software and carry out their work.
This lab is used to make the student learn an object oriented way of solving problems and to write programs in Java, CPP to solve the problems.
English Language & Communication Skills offered at RK University has integrated Globarena English Lab & Career Lab to enhance student’s English proficiency as well as to develop their overall personality.
English Lab is designed to enhance overall communication skills amongst students including pronunciation, accent, etc. & to make them successful in careers. Every employer today, looks for an extra edge in their employees. The rapid change in the corporate world asks for proper communication skills in almost all kinds of fields. UGC, AICTE and other organizations also have strongly recommended enhancement of English Language skills amongst students for better career prospects. The course content of the English Lab has been developed keeping into mind the standard of Indian students and the industry requirements.
